Foot & Ankle Sports Injury Treatment in South-Central Texas
A sprained ankle that won't heal, a stress fracture, or pain in the back of the heel after running can all sideline you longer than they should if left untreated. We diagnose and treat fractures, sprains, strains, tendonitis, and Achilles injuries, with a goal of getting you back to activity safely.

Patient Questions
How can I tell if my ankle is sprained or fractured?
Both can cause pain and swelling, so it's hard to tell without an X-ray. If you can't bear weight, have significant swelling or bruising, or the pain isn't improving, it's worth getting checked promptly.
What happens if you leave a chronic ankle sprain untreated?
Repeated or untreated sprains can lead to lasting instability, making the ankle more prone to re-injury. Addressing it early — with bracing, therapy, or surgery when needed — helps protect long-term joint health.
How soon after Achilles tendonitis treatment can I run again?
It depends on severity and how your tendon responds to treatment — timelines range from a few weeks to a few months. We'll set expectations based on your specific case and guide a gradual return.
